Wait, that's not right. And I love it!

Right swipe. Right swipe. Left. Right. Left. How romantic. Or does that even exist anymore? Every day seemed ordinary. And like every other human being, I was trying to convince myself that it was the best day ever. Because in today’s era, having ordinary days is a sin.

A few more swipes. Maybe I’ll meet the one. That perfect face, looking at which I’ll fall in love once again. Pretty faces with oh so pretty descriptions tagging along. After all, this was the most effort women took for me. Well, me and countless others. But in my world, fuck the countless.

‘Don’t let anyone dim your sunshine.’, one girl said under her profile. God knows what the fuck that means. At the end of the day, the sunshine was a camera flash that hid your freckles. Nice try.

Left. Left. Left. My hand paused. And I stared. That face. Imperfect. Unruly. Beautiful. Wearing a random Sponge Bob T-shirt that said #Bros. In this age of trying to look your absolute best at every given public appearance, this ‘Not give a fuck’ was the ultimate ‘fuck you’ to all.

Finally, someone comfortable in their own skin. ‘24. Likes comic books. Arsenal for life.’ Holy shit. God, you did not just do that! Really? After all these years, have you just given me the perfect girl. Perfect, because she didn’t try to be one. And most probably didn’t expect others to be. Looking for someone who made her, and not the world happy.

Super Like. This had to work.

‘God wouldn’t be so cruel as to put her in your path and not make it happen.’

Or so I thought. Two days. Five Days. Ah!

Fuck you God. And fuck that bitch.
